A frontline philanthropist, Alhaji Sani Mahmud Shaaban, Dan Buram Zazzau has condoled with the family of Dr. Sa’ad Usman, the Emir of Jere in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, who died at the age of 70.
Shaaban who commiserates with family members, friends, and associates of the traditional ruler, who served the country extensively as a public servant, including working as Secretary to the Government of Kaduna State, urged them to find solace in his good works during his sojourn on earth, particularly for indigenes.
He joins the Kaduna Traditional Council in mourning the deceased, knowing that his wise contributions will be sorely missed.
Shaaban was received at the deceased house by the former director-general of the National Emergency Management Agency, Alhaji Sani Sidi amongst other.
The late Emir was a husband to Nenadi Usman, a former Minister of Finance and one time Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Shaaban also called all Nigerians and Kaduna citizen to pay heed to the warning by relevant authorities in order to avoid contracting or spreading the Corona virus.
“I strongly advised that all segments of the society to adhere strictly to all public health directives and regulations provided by the competent authorized agencies such as Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on COVID 19.
“It is important for everyone to take all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of this deadly disease. Such precautions include staying at home, frequent handwashing with soap, limiting physical contact by giving verbal salutations, instead of shaking hands and hugging, observing proper hygiene when coughing or sneezing, etc,” Shaaban concluded.
He called on Nigerians, irrespective of religious beliefs to fervently pray for God’s interventions over the pandemic.
